"Light Up The Canals"
Competition 2024 Results

Thank you to our Members who submitted their canal lights display for RBRA’s 2024 Christmas Lights Competition.  It was great to receive a variety of displays.  In particular, to see the effort made by those households and their support for the Competition.  Well done!  The weather this year made it particularly challenging to do our “sail-past”, however we were able to get out on the water early this week.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s RBRA “Light Up The Canals” 2024 Christmas Lights Competition winners are:

1st Place:  33 Masthead Drive

Equal 2nd Place:  23 Seahaven Court & 24 Caravel Court

3rd Place:  14 Caravel Court

Special Recognition Prize:  8 Sommersea Drive

Best Boat:  33 Masthead Drive        Best Canal:  Torres Canal

We encourage everyone to view the Canal Christmas Lights where possible, to see the effort that our residents have gone to.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2025.

Photos will be available soon.

RBRA Has a New Name!

July 2024

At our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March this year, we conducted a Special Resolution Vote to change the name of our Association from the “Raby Bay Ratepayers Association Incorporated” to the “Raby Bay Residents Association Incorporated”. The vote was overwhelmingly supported by our members in attendance at the meeting.

We are now pleased to advise that we have received approval from the Queensland Government on our requested name change. Going forward we will be known as the Raby Bay Residents Association Incorporated (RBRA).

RBRA was incorporated in 1995 to represent the residents of the Raby Bay Canal Estate. Over the years the Association has worked hard to achieve outcomes for our residents. Raby Bay is a community of over 2,000 residents. As we look to the Estate’s future, we want to ensure that the Association’s name reflects our community residents…
RBRA’s new name does this!
