Your RBRA Committee needs your help.  In particular, we have an ongoing and urgent need for resident volunteers that may have some time to help us - how much time is totally up to the individual.  You may have either some work skills or background interest that could really help us with our activities in areas such as:

  • Civil Engineering; Marine Works; Project Management; Legal Services; Administration; Fund Raising.

  • Park Care Works - either organising or hands-on.

  • Raby Bay Community related activities and Social Events.

  • Communications and Membership related activities.

RBRA Has a New Name!

1st July 2024

At our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March 2024, we conducted a Special Resolution Vote to change the name of our Association from the “Raby Bay Ratepayers Association Incorporated” to the “Raby Bay Residents Association Incorporated”. The vote was overwhelmingly supported by our members in attendance at the meeting.

We are now pleased to advise that we have received approval from the Queensland Government on our requested name change. Going forward we will be known as the Raby Bay Residents Association Incorporated (RBRA).

RBRA was incorporated in 1995 to represent the residents of the Raby Bay Canal Estate. Over the years the Association has worked hard to achieve outcomes for our residents. Raby Bay is a community of over 2,000 residents. As we look to the Estate’s future, we want to ensure that the Association’s name reflects our community residents… RBRA’s new name does this!

Raby Bay Fishing Pier and Beach Sand
20th June 2024

Great to see some overdue community projects now completed by Redland City Council in Raby Bay.  The long awaited removal of the old Masthead Drive Fishing Pier and rehabilitation on the canal side, with pathway, landscaping and seating. This also included the construction of a concrete hard stand, seating and pathway for fishing at the western end of the Foreshore Park, overlooking Endeavour Canal.

Redland City Council have also replenished the eroded beaches on Foreshore Park with fresh and clean beach sand.
